This is a plant. We got it at Trader Joe's. Little flowers come out of the slit in the middle. They are native to South Africa. I wish we could have seen them in the wild when we were there. But for now, we are happy with our little pot of strangeness.
Strangeness INDEED! They look like a pile of bad teeth that had to be pulled. Sad little bouquet.
