Our Christmas tradition is gingerbread boys! My mom has made them every Christmas that I remember.
This year, I am helping her. Gingerbread boys take a lot of work. First you have to knead the dough, then roll it out and cut it. Then you have to arrange the limbs and bake them.
When they are finished, you have to brush off the flour with a stiff brush and decorate them.
The best part is eating them. But now that I know how much work it takes, I start looking at every cookie in terms of how long it took me to make it.... so they aren't as carefree to eat anymore. Pierre was determined to stay at our feet in case any crumbs fell to the floor,
and Mosey was depressed because he lost his playmate...
